Dr. Michele Lehman

Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Michele Lehman is a licensed naturopathic physician in the state of Washington. Dr. Lehman received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. Her areas of interest include women’s health, fertility, mental health, musculoskeletal pain, gastrointestinal complaints and weight loss.

Dr. Lehman was attracted to Bastyr University because of the balance of evidence-based medicine with traditional healing philosophies.  This training has enabled her to work with patients to help realize personal health goals.  She uses natural therapies such as nutrition, lifestyle modifications, botanical medicine, and physical medicine to help accomplish these goals.

Dr. Lehman was born and raised in Northern California.  After receiving her undergraduate degree from University of the Pacific, she spent three years in West Africa as a health educator with the Peace Corps.  While there, she lived in a small village where she was frustrated to see children and adults in her community die from preventable diseases.  She worked with local communities to identify health concerns and implement interventions that addressed these concerns.  The cumulation of her experiences there pushed her to apply to medical school upon her return.

When she isn’t practicing medicine, Dr. Lehman enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two young boys, gardening, cooking, hiking, working out, and brewing Kombucha.  She is fluent in French.
